Recycle

Below you will find instructions on how to sort the packaging materials we use to ship our parts to you. You also have instruction on you can discard parts should you want to, through our resell channel.

Corrugated Cardboard

We choose a 3mm sturdier thickness over the more common 2mm, for a box of this size as well as a design that can easily be unfolded back to a flat plane. This makes the box easy to store and durable enough to reuse - which is the best way to recycle it!

If you need to throw it out however, it needs to be sorted as PAP22 "corrugated cardboard".

Paper

Both the information insert and the crepe paper is should be sorted as PAP20 "paper waste".

The crepe paper we chose to protect the parts during transport, is of a good quality however, so the best way to recycle it, is to find a different use for it.

Low Density Polyethylene

To protect the printed parts further during shipping, we choose zipper bags over welded shut bags, to make them naturally reusable, so consider doing that!

If you do need to throw them out, they need to be sorted as LDPE04 "plastic waste".

Castle Clad Bricks ABS09 plastic parts as waste example

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene

We only print on the parts made out of ABS, but ABS is a plastic that is inherently hard to recycle, so we can't in good faith label them ABS07 and call it that!

If you need to discard of them, the best way to do so is to find a new owner to sell or give them to! Since these are not genuine prints, but custom prints, you can't use the major reseller platform - so we have setup a ccb-resell-recycle channel on our discord to assist you here!
